Social Service Club

The purpose of the volunteer club

1. Long-term: Regular weekly service, and long-term contact with the service object, to establish a deeper connection. Not for short-term winter and summer vacations.

2. Stable: A partnership with the same institution that lasts for many years.

3. Localization: Select institutions in the Sanying area, establish a direct interaction between the community and the university, and implement the concept of "Taipei University University Area"

4. Social Work: The volunteer club belongs to the departmental club of the Department of Social Work at Taipei University. They will integrate the social work knowledge they have learned into volunteer services, and at the same time, they can get in touch with social work teachers in the practical field to accumulate experience.

Secondary English/Mathematics Classes

1. Service object: Primary and secondary school students in the institution

2. Service content: mainly provide students with solving difficulties in schoolwork, preview or review school courses, and care for students' daily life

Huairen Program for the Disabled

1. Service objects: the students of the Zhongdao Jingyuan of the Huairen Buddhist Foundation

2. Service content: All the students are disabled in different categories. Volunteers will design different types of group games that the students can complete, such as painting, origami, passing balls, etc.

Taipei University Eldercare Program

1. Service object: the elderly of Taipei University Public Nursing Center

2. Service content Sanxia Taipei University Public Care Center for the Elderly
Volunteers use the weekday afternoons to discuss and design simple games by themselves or with the social workers of the organization, which can promote the interaction between the elders and between the elders and the volunteers. Different fun for the elders of the institution.
