What is Light House doing?

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the semester, we will lead mathematics and English lessons near the school. The main service targets are urban aborigines and boxing students in the Sanxia area. We use the theme of teaching every two weeks; on Wednesday, we will go to the South Jing tribe service ~ class materials are prepared and collected by the volunteers responsible for the subject. No matter what courses and activities you want to bring, you can propose and implement them! in addition! This semester, a new multi-learning course has been added. We look forward to sharing with students with your unique expertise and interests!

Does Light House usually have other activities besides classes?

Light House holds a training session about once a month. The content of the training session is to discuss the problems encountered in the service process and the solutions, and also invite social workers or seniors to come back and share their past experiences, so that everyone can gain a lot. Full! In addition to the training sessions, we will also have boxing experience courses, professional lectures, club recitals, etc. For example, the boxing experience is to let the students of the boxing team who are usually students serve as teachers, and use their strengths to teach the boxing that college students have rarely come into contact with.

How is it different from other service societies?

Light House is a weekly service on weekdays, and the Winter and Summer Holidays Association will hold camps from time to time. College students are also welcome to travel together as team assistants!
In addition, we will suspend services during the week of midterm and final exams, so that members can prepare for the exams!
