111 College Go Tournament
Our agency went to Da'an Junior High School in Taipei City to discuss and communicate with the masters from all over Taiwan, and achieved quite good results. The members also benefited a lot, as follows:
1. Groups
The team group led by the vice president, despite facing many strong enemies, still advanced to the top 16 with three wins and two losses. I hope that the next competition will have a better performance when all members are present.
2. Women's team
Facing Fo Guang University, National Taiwan University and other strong schools that specialize in training chess players, the women's team achieved two wins and one loss, and won the honor of fourth place and medals and awards. Next time, the top three will be the goal.
3. Personal group
What amazed everyone this time was Lin Shiyao in the rank A group (and also the instructor of our agency), who passed the ranks of many amateur high-level and even professional players in the rank A group, and achieved four wins and one loss. The representative of the college chess world won fourth place in the competition.
4. Conclusion
To sum up, this National University College Go Tournament not only gave the club members the opportunity to exchange ideas with players from various schools, but also allowed the club members to get to know each other better. It was a fruitful journey~
Our agency went to Taiwan Normal University to communicate with students from the other two schools, including group games, one-on-one chess games and other activities.
Our agency went to Chengchi University to participate in the Zhengda Cup hosted by the Zhengda Weiqi Club. This year is the 19th, and it is tied with the College Cup as two major events in the university chess world.
